hadros Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing high purity chemicals business in Indonesia that owns and operates a portfolio of chemical refineries across the country, and they are currently looking for a Chief Commercial Officer to join them, developing and executing the company's commercial strategy in Indonesia and the region.
The CCO will drive revenue and market share by overseeing all aspects of sales, business development, marketing, and key customer/partner relationships—with a special focus on high purity chemical solutions for industries like semiconductors, electronics, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Commercial Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive commercial and go-to-market strategies that align with the company’s vision and growth targets.
- Lead and inspire teams across sales, business development, marketing, technical service, and customer experience functions.
- Set and achieve ambitious financial, revenue, and margin targets for the business unit.
- Market Development & Key Accounts
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, with a strong focus on strategic and high-value segments such as semiconductor and advanced electronics customers.
- Build and maintain senior-level client and partner relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Develop partnerships and alliances with local and international players to strengthen the company’s market position.
- Business Intelligence & Innovation
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements to inform commercial strategy.
- Collaborate with the R&D and product innovation teams to shape offerings that meet evolving industry needs for purity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee pricing, product positioning, and contract negotiations for high purity chemicals and value-added services.
- Sales Management & Operations
- Drive commercial excellence through process improvement, digital tools adoption, and performance management.
- Ensure robust sales pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and timely reporting to the CEO and Board.
- Brand, Marketing & Compliance
- Expand and strengthen the company’s reputation as a leader in high purity chemicals across core industry segments.
- Ensure all commercial activities adhere to local regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years’ commercial experience in the chemicals, specialty chemicals, or advanced materials sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrable success in building customer portfolios in semiconductors, electronics, or other advanced industries relevant to high purity chemicals.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and track record of revenue and margin improvement.
- Excellent strategic leadership, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
