Our client is seeking a Management Consultant to join their rapidly expanding team to manage the strategy, technical and commercial aspects of their clients' infrastructure projects across Asia.
The ideal candidate must have prior conventional or renewable energy power development experience, either as a consultant or a developer. If successful, you will work alongside a strong team of professionals with strong commercial and technical knowledge, managing complex infrastructure-related projects across the region, such as conventional power, renewable energy, transmission and water.

If successful, you will work alongside a strong team of professionals with strong commercial and technical knowledge, managing complex infrastructure-related projects across the region, such as conventional power, renewable energy, transmission and water.
Responsibilities:
- Shares knowledge, skills, and expertise to enhance the knowledge and skills of others.
- Builds strong relationships with team members and management within the client's organization to improve collaboration.
- Reviews the quality of their own work on engagements to ensure high standards.
- Understands and meets the client's expectations within the scope of their role in the engagement.
- Develops relevant knowledge bases by using best practices to redefine tools and techniques.
- Defines specific performance measures, targets, and goals to demonstrate the benefits of improved efficiencies or added value.
- Challenges the client's existing strategy and direction using persuasive arguments.
- Identifies competitive advantages and demonstrates achievable value to the client through strategic change components and metrics.
- Creates hypotheses based on issues and develops an analytical plan for testing.
- Contributes to the analysis of the impact of strategic changes by defining linkages and interdependencies.
- Applies specialized knowledge to produce moderately complex work products and solutions across multiple phases of an engagement.
- Uses appropriate methods or equivalents to meet client needs.
- Anticipates and resolves technical problems with occasional assistance from others.
- Develops, presents, and defends conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans.
- Assists in ensuring high-quality engagements by participating in quality reviews.
- Identifies technical issues that affect the engagement and proposes solutions.
- Applies best practices knowledge of the industry to analyze problems and suggest solutions.
- Manages client expectations within the defined scope of engagement.
- Recommends appropriate resources based on the stage of an assignment.
- Delegates work to assigned team members.
- Uses established processes and practices to assess the risks of an engagement.
- Manages engagement issues in less complex projects or escalates issues in more complex projects.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering with a Masters in either Engineering or Business Administration is preferred
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a management or technical consulting environment, candidates with development experience will be considered
- Must have a working knowledge of energy markets and network operations
- Advanced knowledge in one or more aspects of consulting processes
- Must be capable of interfacing with multiple projects
