hadros Recruitment is working with a leading Private Equity fund in Asia that is actively investing in operational assets across several market segments including Energy, Water, Semiconductor, etc., and they are currently looking for a Corporate Finance Director to join their team in Singapore.

This role goes beyond the traditional corporate finance remit: in addition to leading core corporate finance activities, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in structuring, securing, and managing debt financing for private equity investments across global markets. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking financial strategist with deep international banking relationships, extensive capital markets knowledge, and proven expertise in debt structuring for complex cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the sourcing, structuring, and execution of debt financing arrangements to support global private equity investments, including leveraged buyouts, growth financings, and recapitalizations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to optimize the firm's capital structure, ensuring financing strategies align with long-term investment objectives.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with domestic and international banks, credit funds, institutional investors, and rating agencies. Negotiate terms and ensure access to competitive financing.
  • Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, covenant analysis, and scenario planning to support investment teams in structuring optimal capital solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations, covenant reporting obligations, and local/international compliance standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to corporate finance professionals, fostering an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in raising and structuring debt for cross-border transactions, including syndicated loans, high-yield bonds, and private credit facilities.
  • Strong track record managing financing for private equity investments globally, ideally across multiple sectors and geographies.
  • Established senior-level network within the banking, credit fund, and institutional investment communities.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability and the ability to manage complexity across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional regional language proficiency is a plus.
